Chris started his career as a Carpenter building luxury homes in Nantucket, USA for clients including fashion guru Tommy Hilfiger and Jack Welch of General Electric.

Chris has 20+ years’ of hands-on experience in both high-end residential build and commercial fit-out, extensive experience working within central London and the Home Counties delivering projects for clients such as Hermes on Sloane Street, Harrods, Knightsbridge, Hermes and Bvlgari on the Selfridges expansion on Oxford Street with Portview. MAC on Carnaby Street and Jo Malone on Regent Street with JM Scully.

Before forming Elkhorn Developments, Chris worked with Berkeley Homes in Hampshire and Richmond, successfully delivering high end residential homes.

Phillip Williams
Developments Director

Philip has over 25 years’ experience in the Construction Industry with a demonstrable record of delivering successful projects of varying complexity and size, from initial feasibility to completion, for both main contractors and national developers. He has detailed knowledge of the development process including land acquisition, design, technical, construction and project management procedures and how these interact to ensure project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, cost and programme.

Phil’s has thorough technical and design knowledge covering planning, utilities, highways, drainage, warranty provision, ecology, building regulations and remediation.

He has detailed knowledge and delivery of projects utilising different construction methodologies including Traditional Masonry, Timber Frame, RC frame, Steel Frame and off site MMC.
With experience in delivering low, medium and high rise, mixed use developments of varying complexity & size.

James Evans
Commercial Director

James has worked within the construction industry for over 15 years, starting his career in the high-end residential sector working on behalf of niche developers on one off prime residential properties throughout Surrey and the Home Counties.

With a strong background in all Commercial aspects from inception to completion, previous projects have spanned from 1,000sqft to over 40,000sqft. GDV ranging from £1m to £350 million within both residential and mixed-use developments.

Recent experience includes working for Berkeley Homes on delivering a large residential multi-phase village in Hampshire. James is committed and highly motivated in providing a high-quality product for his clients.

Katy Lucas
Creative Director

Katy has worked in the creative industry for nearly 20 years’, having worked for well known brands including Waitrose, Glenfiddich, The Body Shop, Starbucks, British chef Heston Blumenthal, and premium retreat brand The Wilderness Reserve.

Katy is renowned for her creative concepts of full branding campaigns, for above & below the line marketing material, as well as interior visual concepts.

Katy has vast experience in Art Direction for photo shoots, and press shows, elevating brands through the use of photography and art, and comes with a long list of connections of external creatives for bespoke work, when needed.
